Polish and UI
For this checkpoint I was more putting in placeholder UIs this was to make my game somewhat functional and provide some guidance for the game testing session. This meant that my game's graphics were non-existent, but still playable.
One issue I did come across was being unsure of how much to scale all the text because I didn't know how to preview what the game would look like and I tried adjusting main camera zoom but that didn't really help. So every time I made a new build the size/zoom was off, here is an example of the title screen:
For creating these UIs I mainly used:
-Event system
-Canvas
-Panels
-Text Legacy + Text Mesh pro
-Button
-Scene switcher script
-Scenes to switch between (they were all added to the build profile, scene list)
-and finally some modifications on scripts who required text displays
The Gif is how the game would have been viewed, showing one mini game.
